Tara graduated Western Connecticut State University in January of 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing with a Minor in Health Promotion & Exercise. While Tara’s main educational background is business, she truly has a passion for exercise, and healthy living. Tara’s is married to a Marine Corps Veteran, together they have completed a Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash and have overcome many more obstacles; such as getting this Gym to where it is today. Tara is a motivated, team leader and is the driving force behind the growing success of Core Fitness Health Club, and will be there for her members every step of the way. She enjoys strength, core and weight training. Tara also loves to read, and experiment with new and upcoming trends in the Fitness world. When she is not in the gym she enjoys activities such as hiking, cooking, and making this world a more fit and beautiful place.

Valerie Moss

Personal Trainer

Valerie is a Personal Fitness Trainer, Kickboxing Instructor and Group Exercise Instructor certified through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Spinning Instructor, certified through Mad Dogg Athletics, and a Level 2 TRX Instructor certified in Group TRX Suspension Training, Sports Medicine Suspension Training and TRX Force. Valerie understands the importance of staying fit using multiple techniques of exercise. Valerie has worked as a personal trainer and group instructor specializing in circuit weight training and cardio workouts. She is a firm believer in strength training for both men and women combined with an assorted cardio workout to get results. She is an enthusiastic trainer and encourages her clients to have fun while staying healthy and fit. She also enjoys outdoor cycling, swimming, and running, and has recently completed her first half marathon in San Francisco.
